Simple ghost ball set up. Balls aligned to the pocket. Notice the contact point. Can't see it on left photo. That's where you need to HIT with the cue ball. That little spot!

Even on those thinner cuts, you can get up, look it over, get down and aim. Stand up AGAIN look it over, get down and aim. Then try different cue ball locations. It's this repetition that will eventually make it automatic.

Question: Will your Ghost Ball Trainer help me shoot straighter?
Answer: Not as is. HOWEVER, you can set it on its side and practice stroking at the silver head. This would be the exact center of a real cue ball. This will certainly help. You can practice this at home on the kitchen table.

Question: This ghost Ball thing does NOT WORK!! I am aiming right at the center of the Ghost Ball SPOT but the object ball misses to the right. WHY??
Answer:The Ghost Ball THING DOES WORK! First and foremost, be SURE they are lined up correctly. Then, REMEMBER,, when things are "round" and they can "spin" nothing is guaranteed. Attached are shots of another player who felt the same way. After I did a video of her shot she said "Oh, I did that?" Notice the position of the cue stick AFTER the shot. She was putting left spin on the cue ball forcing the object ball to go right.
